Brazilian midfielder, Fabio Gama, has returned to Ghana ahead of the start of Asante Kotoko’s pre-season.
Gama, 28, was met at the airport by the club’s CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.
Gama has been back in his native Brazil for holidays following the end of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
He will rejoin his teammates on Tuesday after the team trained on Monday under new coach Prosper Nartey without him.
Gama was instrumental for the Porcupine Warriors last term and will hope to inspire them to victory this season.
The 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season is billed to start on October 29.
