Ghanaian musician, King Promise has opened up on his relationship with Chelsea star, Hakim Ziyech.

Promise, a massive fan of European champions, Chelsea, was surprised by Ziyech at one of his recording sessions in London back in July.

Speaking to the host of Brunch In The Citi on Citi FM, King Promise said the Moroccan was a huge fan of his music and that the studio visit before the start of the season was one of a number of times the winger has looked in on him in the UK.

“Yeah. [Ziyech] is my boy and he plays for Chelsea as well. I have a few football friends, a lot of them, maybe,” he said.

“Ziyech is not even Ghanaian but he loves my music, he’s been to my sessions when I’m in the UK, he just comes to chill. It’s all good vibes I guess.”

In July, Promise posted a short video on Twitter showing the Chelsea player, who was apparently a big fan of Promise and had surprised him at his recording session in London, vibing to the Ghanaian singer’s hit song ‘Commando’ and his collaboration with Mugeez and Sarkodie, ‘CCTV’.

“My bro Hakim Ziyech surprised me at my session tonight & played me his favorite King Promise songs! Love bro! Chelsea for life,” Promise said on Twitter.

Ziyech has made two appearances for Chelsea this season, including in the Blues’ Super Cup victory over Villareal in which he scored.

However, he picked up an injury that has kept him out of the starting lineup in the Premier League this season although he came on for eight minutes in the win over Arsenal.
