Ashanti Gold SC have agreed with their head coach Ernest Thompson Quartey to mutually terminate his contract after just 3 matches into the new Ghana Premier League season.
According to reports, Quartey’s relationship with the squad as well as a number of technical team members has deteriorated in recent weeks thereby forcing the clubs management to act.
Assistant coach Thomas Duah will take over as interim head coach in his absence.
Ash Gold are currently 9th on the table.
