CAFWCL: Vice President Bawumia congratulates Hasaacas Ladies for reaching final

Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahmudu Bawumia has congratulated Hasaacas Ladies for beating Moroccan side, ASFAR Club to reach the final of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Congratulations to @HasaacasLadies for their impressive 2:1 semi final victory against Moroccan side, ASFAR Club, to reach the final of the maiden CAF Women’s Champions League in Egypt.

Doris Boaduwaa gave the Ghanaian champions the lead with a cool finish but Najat Badri pulled the Moroccan giants level before Evelyn Badu headed in an inviting cross from Boaduwaa to send them to the finals.

Hasaacas Ladies became the first team to make it to the final of the maiden CAF Women’s Champions League where the will face Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa who edged Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinea 5-4 on penalties following a 0-0 result.

The final game of the maiden CAF Women’s Champions League will be played on Friday, November 19, 2021 in Cairo.
