Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew, scored his 3rd goal of the season in Crystal Palace’s 3-2 defeat to Everton in the Premier League on Thursday night.
Ayew scored the second of Palace’s goals when he controlled the ball with his chest before guiding the ball into the back of the net to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead in the 36th Minute.
Ayew’s other goals this season came against Arsenal back in April when he scored in front of President Akufo-Addo, and against Southampton in a 2-2 draw in December last year. Before that he had gone 43 games without a Premier League goal.
Fans of the Black Stars will be hoping this is an indication of future form ahead of November’s World Cup where Ghana have been drawn in Group H with Portugal, South Korea and Portugal.
