Headline sponsors of the Ghana Premier League, betPawa say they are excited at the imminent return of top-flight football in the country after a two-week hiatus.

On Tuesday, a high court nullified an injunction that had halted league games for close to a fortnight, paving way for the 2022/23 season to resume.

In a statement, betPawa thanked fans for their patience and added that they “can’t wait” for supporters to fill the various stadiums on matchday yet again.

The company said it will continue to work closely with the various stakeholders in Ghana football, including the Ghana Football Association to ensure the growth of the game in Ghana.
