Spanish club, Sevilla has submitted a two-million Euro bid to French Club, Strasbourg for the services of Ghanaian center-back Alexander Djiku.

This is according to reports by the French newspaper L’Equipe.

Djiku’s current contract currently expires at the end of the season and the Ligue 1 team might be tempted to sell rather than lose him on free in the summer.

The bid submitted by six time Europa League Champions reportedly includes bonuses and a percentage of the future sale of the Ghanaian defender.

The 28-year-old has made 18 Ligue 1 appearances for his club this season with a goal and two assists to his name.

His efforts have however not been enough as Strasbourg currently sit one place above the relegation zone.

Djiku debuted for Ghana on 9 October 2020 in friendly game against Mali which Ghana lost 3-0.

He’s made 20 appearances for Ghana with one goal to his name.

He was also part of the Ghanaian squad that participated in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
