Gael Aholou celebrates goal against Kotoko

On Friday league leaders, Aduana Stars, were held to a goalless draw away from home against Bechem United. They stay on top of the pile despite dropping points.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko on the other hand, were soundly beaten on their travel. Goals in each half from Aholou Gael and Agyenim Boateng sealed a 2-0 victory for Dreams FC. The loss sees Kotoko drop to third place on the table.

Hearts of Oak was victorious in their tie on Saturday. Three goals in the last 10 minutes ensured a 3-1 win for the men from Accra. They climb to second place on the table with that win.

King Faisal edged Real Tamale United with a 1-0 victory. Tamale City was held by Medeama SC to a goalless draw at home.

Two first half goals from Baba Mahama and Kwame Nana proved to be enough for Nsoatreman FC to secure a 2-1 win over Accra Great Olympics despite Aryeetey Ayikwei pulling one back for the Wonder Club.

Hearts of Oak celebrate win over Berekum Chelsea

Elsewhere Karela compounded Kotoku Royals misery by beating them 2-1 at the CAM Park.

Kharim Ayeh put Karela in the lead Richard Dzikoe pulled one back for Kotoku Royals before Evans Adomako sealed the victory for Karela before half time.

Samartex were also 2-1 winners over Legon Cities at Samreboi on Sunday.

Accra Lions face Bibiani Gold Stars at home on Monday in the last game of the round.
