Ghana forward Ben Bentil starred for Crvena Zvezda MTS (Red Star Belgrade) in a 68-74 loss to Olimpia Milano in a Euroleague regular season matchup.

The loss was Red Star’s second in a row to an Italian side after the Serbian club lost 72-84 to Virtus Bologna in the lead up to the Olimpia matchup.

Playing against the team he starred on before joining Red Star, Bentil led all players by registering 17 points and adding seven rebounds and two steals in 29:16 minutes as a starter.

Bentil played the 2021-2022 season with Milano and won the Italian Cup and Serie A title before moving to join Crvena this past offseason.

Former Dallas Mavericks forward Bentil converted four of seven two point shot attempts while converting two of five three point shot attempts in the contest.

He scored all three free throws and turned over possession once on a good night for the Sekondi native who was ruled out for a couple of games to illness.
