Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has broken Cristiano Ronaldo’s jumping record in the Italian Serie A amid a brilliant scoring run in the 2022-2023 season.

The Nigerian international scaled Ronaldo’s 256 centimeters as he rose highest to connect to a loose ball to put Napoli up 2-0 in a league game against Spezia in the last round.

Osimhen’s jump reached a peak height of 258 centimeters / 8.4 feet to beat Ronaldo’s record the former Juventus striker recorded against Sampdoria in the 2019-2020 season.

However, Osimhen couldn’t beat out Fikayo Tomori all time Serie A jumping record of 263 centimeters recorded in AC Milan’s 3-0 win over Juventus in the 2020-2021 season. Tomori rose to a height of 263 centimeters/ 8.6 feet.

Napoli beat Spezia 3-0 to establish a 13 point lead atop the Italian league standings; Osimhen scored a brace in the win to take his tally to 16 goals in 17 league games this season.

Tomori

Nigerian international Osimhen, is a highly sought after forward who has reportedly attracted strong interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
