Braves won the 2022 ABL Women's Division title

Braves of Customs Women’s Basketball team power forward, Gloria Gyampoh, has told fans of the team to expect more success this season.

She stated this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports in the lead up to Braves’ season opening game against Ghana Air force in the 2023 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division campaign.

Braves picked up a 55-33 win to get its new campaign off to a winning start and for Gyampoh, this is something the league’s most dominant side will deliver consistently this season.

Customs won the 2022 league title after missing out on two league titles in a row to Ghana Police Service.

“It felt great [winning the title back] we did our homework well and it felt really good. You should expect more from Braves. We are not winning just this season…we are solid and no team can take the title from us.”
