Ghana Premier League outfit, Medeama SC have announced the return of veteran coach, Evans Adotey as the technical director of the club until the end of the season.
This is the fourth time the experienced coach and administrator assumes a position at club.
He previously served as an interim coach, assistant coach and technical director during his four-year stint at the club from 2013 to 2017.
It is important to note that Medeama has been without a head coach since the resignation of Abdul Rabi on March 1, 2023.
Mr. Adotey’s appointment as technical director will have him overseeing the Tarkwa-based club’s first team as things stand.
“My role is to guide the direction of Medeama Sporting Club; where has the team come from, what has the team achieved so far, where is the team currently and where is the team going?” he said at the unveiling ceremony.
“It means areas like coming up with short and long-term programs. As to what, who, why and when, these are questions we will ask ourselves,” he added
Evans Adotey guided Medeama to two FA Cups in 2013 and 2015 respectively during his previous tenure at the club.
