The head coach of Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC, Umar Abdul Rabi has parted ways with the club.

The club announced Abdul Rabi’s resignation in a post on their official twitter page on Wednesday night, after their 1-1 draw with Real Tamale United.

“Medeama would like to announce that coach Umar Rabi has left the club. He has tendered in his resignation. The club will be making no further comments at the moment,” the account tweeted.

The reason for his resignation is unknown but unconfirmed reports suggest that he might be on his way to the Right to Dream Academy in Egypt.

Abdul Rabi guided Medeama SC to a second place finish last season. The club currently sits at 7th in the betPawa Ghana Premier League.
