Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a 3-2 defeat to debutants FC Samartex on Sunday at the Nsenkyire Sports complex.

The host, had the better share of the game right after kickoff to register the opener through Kwasi Ofosu, netting the first goal in the 7th minute to put FC Samartex ahead.

But on the stroke of half time, Hearts of Oak SC levelled through Gideon Asante Yeboah heading into the dressing room with a 1-1 draw.

Coach David Ocloo who was hoping to record his first away win since taking over as interim manager, saw Congolese midfielder Linda Mtange put them infront for the first time of the game after the hour mark.

However, lost of concentration cost them to concede in the 76th minute mark.

Former Asante Kotoko SC and Karela United FC attacking midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh scored a screamer to draw parity for FC Samartex.

In the stoppage time, the phobians suffered a heart break despite Richard Attah making a brilliant save to deny the host from taking the leading in the 90+1 minute.

The brave display from the Ghanaian goalkeeper could not stop the Timber Giants who made an attempt again, and this time around had the winner through Yusuf Siedu Dauda in the 94 minute.
