Bechem United Football Club’s Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Gyasi Atuahene, says he is not surprised at his team’s performance in the 2022-2023 season because his outfit’s plan is to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League.

The Hunters rank second in the betPAWA Ghana Premier League standings with 48 points with 14 wins, six draws and nine losses in 29 league games and they trail league leader Aduana Stars by three points.

Bechem is set to take on Medeama SC in Tarkwa on Monday, May 8 in the upcoming round of league games; Medeama sits a point behind Bechem.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, Atuahene highlighted the team’s ambitions for the season.

“For Bechem United, we are not surprised at all because we had a plan and the plan was represent Ghana at either the Champions League level or Confederation Cup level within the shortest possible time and we started with this plan three seasons ago.
