Ghana forward, Yaw Yeboah, scored his second goal of the 2023 Major League Soccer (MLS) 2022-2023 season with a stunning strike in Columbus Crew’s 1-3 loss to Nashville Soccer Club.
The 26-year-old delivered a brilliant left footed hit close to the edge of the penalty box inside two minutes of the game.
Yeboah received a pass from Juan Hernandez and blasted the ball into the top right corner of the goal to give Columbus a surprise early lead.
However, Columbus suffered a second half collapse as Nashville scored three times to take the win and condemn Columbus to its sixth loss of the season in 14 games.
Yeboah played out the entire duration of the game and completed 28 of 36 pass attempts while winning six of eight ground duels in the regular season.
Yeboah joined the MLS after playing in the Polish league for Wisla Krakow where he registered 10 goals and five assists in 50 games.
Crew plays Colorado Rapids next on Wednesday, May 31.
