Christian Atsu Educational Centre for orphans completed & inaugurated

After the successful completion of the school project, the Christian Atsu Educational Centre has been inaugurated.

The school, situated in Senya Beraku within the Central Region was commissioned on June 28, 2023, with the ceremony attended by family, friends, and students.

Originally initiated by the deceased Newcastle United winger, the school faced a setback as Atsu tragically passed away before its completion.

The untimely demise of Christian Atsu Twasam occurred during the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria in February of this year.

Nevertheless, Atsu’s former clubs in the Premier League, namely Chelsea, Everton, and Newcastle, along with other generous donors, joined forces to ensure the realization of the player’s dream.

The clubs, in collaboration with the Becky’s Foundation, ensured that the nine-unit school building was constructed to benefit orphans in the Senya Beraku district.
