Black Stars Defender, Daniel Amartey is currently on the move after being released by Leicester City.

Reports have linked the 28-year-old with a transfer away from the English Premier League.

Turkish outfit, Besiktas are understood to be interested in the versatile player.

In a sharp twist of events, Amartey could have his stay in England extended.

This is after he was spotted with new Chelsea Manager, Mauricio Pochettino in a video.

The Argentine Coach has been tasked to return the Blues to their glory days following a disastrous 2022/2023 campaign.

With his expertise of managing sides from Espanyol to Southampton, Tottenham to Paris Saint Germain, Pochettino, who starts his Chelsea tenure on 1st July, has set the ball rolling.

Although the engagement between Amartey and Pochettino is unknown, a transfer for the free-agent Ghanaian to Stamford Bridge cannot be written off.

Amartey is experienced in the Premier League following an estimated £6million switch from Copenhagen in 2016.

He has the Premier League title, FA Cup and Community Shield as honours for his 7-year stay in England.
