Black Stars defender, Abdul Baba Rahman, is set to embark on a second stint at Greek club PAOK, departing from his current club Chelsea.

Unlike his previous loan arrangement in the Greek league, this time the 29-year-old will leave Chelsea permanently as his contract is expected to be mutually terminated.

This insightful information has been shared by renowned Transfer Expert, Fabrizio Romano.

PAOK will secure Baba Rahman’s services as a free agent, offering him a two-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2025.

This move draws a definitive close to Baba Rahman’s longstanding eight-year association with Chelsea, marking the end of an era for the left-back.

Baba Rahman initially joined Chelsea in August 2015 from German club Augsburg, signing a five-year contract worth a substantial sum of almost £22 million in total.

During his time at Stamford Bridge, he made a modest 26 appearances for the club.

However, the majority of his career has been spent on loan at various clubs, including Schalke, Reims, Mallorca, PAOK, and Reading.

Now, with his imminent transfer to PAOK, Baba Rahman looks forward to embarking on a fresh chapter in his professional journey, as he returns to the Greek league and endeavors to make a significant impact for his new team.
