Ghana’s Black Meteors team arrived in Accra after exiting the ongoing 2023 U23 African Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco.
The team departed Rabat around 11pm on Sunday night and arrived in Accra in the early hours of Monday, July 3, 2023.
Led by Ibrahim Tanko, the team accrued a paltry four points out of a possible nine after win over Congo, a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Morocco and a shocking 1-1 draw against Guinea in Tangier.
The technical team of the Black Meteors is expected to submit its tournament report to the GFA’s Executive Council for its assessment.
