Tanzanian side Young Africans, have completed the signing of Hafiz Konkoni from Ghana Premier club, Bechem United.

The 23-year old has signed a two-year deal with the club, which will see him stay in Tanzania until 2025 with the option for a further year.

Since joining Bechem, Konkoni has scored 34 goals in 97 appearances over four seasons, he also scored 15 goals in 29 games in the 2022/2023 season.

His performance earned him a first call-up to the Black Stars, ahead of their AFCON Qualifier against Madagascar in June.

Yanga will be competing in the CAF Champions League in the upcoming 2023/2024 season and have strengthened their squad with some foreign players, including Hafiz Konkoni.

The Tanzanian club reached the finals of the CAF Confederation Cup last season, losing to Algerian side USM Alger.
