Ghana League Club Association President, Kudjoe Fianoo, says he expects the upcoming Ghana Premier League season to be better than the previous campaign.

The immediate past season of the BetPawa Ghana Premier League went to the wire with Medeama SC emerging as champions for the first time.

In an exclusive interview with Citi Sports the GHALCA boss touched on matters that affected the previous season including bad officiating, crowd trouble and what he looked forward to in the upcoming season that is set to commence in September.

“It took the last games before we could determine who won the league, who placed second and even coming down with those who should be relegated. So it was a good league… I think when we tighten the screws we’ll get better performance from our referees and the crowd will also fall in line. So very good league but I will want it to be better next season” he said.
