Hearts of Oak Defender, Samuel Inkoom has apologized to fans of the club for the team’s abysmal performance in the just ended Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians, who won the title last two seasons under then head coach, Samuel Boadu, finished last season in 12th place with 46 points.

Inkoom who was speaking on Citi Sports’ ‘THE TRACKER’ urged the fans to keep supporting the club ahead of the new season.

“I will just say that the playing body didn’t do what we are supposed to do to make the fans happy that is why now every fan is mad at us. They have every right” he said.

“I will apologize on behalf of the team. They should forgive us but I want to tell them that the team is for them whether they like it or not” he added

Hearts of Oak will be looking at the new season with a lot of intent as they hope to bounce back from a dreadful Ghana Premier campaign they endured in the 2022/2023 season
