[WATCH]: Arsenal’s Kai Havertz sets terrible historic mark in Cross and Volley Challenge

New Arsenal recruit Kai Havertz has again left fans of the London club flustered after delivering an underwhelming performance in his latest outing.

Havertz joined Arsenal from fellow London club Chelsea this offseason for 64 million Pounds and his hefty signing fee raised a lot of questions considering the midfield options available to head coach Mikel Arteta.

In a preseason game against German side Nurenburg, Havertz underperformed and went on to set a terrible record as he missed all attempts in the Cross and Volley Drill Challenge.

By missing all 14 attempted shots, Kai Havertz became the first play in the MLS All Star’s history to record this feat since the drill’s format was reconfigured in 2018.

Havertz displayed an excellent touch when he shot several volley attempts on goal that really worked goalkeeper Roman Burki; an attempt struck the cross bar.

However, he lost his touch as the drill continued with his attempts going way off the mark to the astonishment of fans.

It marked a sharp departure of form from the previous challenge where the 24 year old German international dazzled in the Touch Challenge.

Scroll down to Havertz’s performance in the Cross and Volley Challenge and reactions from fans on social media.

You may want to look away if you are an Arsenal fan. Kai Havertz is not human 🙈#CitiSportspic.twitter.com/ZwFFWNnFcd

Kai Havertz is still suffering from the shackles of mediocrity and poor decision makings that engulfed him at Chelsea. Spending a season with Frank Lampard and Harry Potter does that to a good player.Mikel Arteta will free him. Worry not. He's on the road to redemption.

He’s the only player in the history of the cross and volley challenge to not score at all 😭😭😭😭
