A drone shot of Paris Saint-Germain’s new training facility has spread wildly on social media after footage of the structure surfaced with construction of the structure taking a full year to complete.
The impressive facility valued at $332 million, has all the amenities of a world class structure synonymous with top profile sports clubs around the world.
PSG’s facility has a recovery section dotted with multiple swimming pools, a dining area, a dressing room, several meeting rooms and a hospitality suite. The new structure can host as many as 180 athletes and the hospitality suites are 42 in all.
The facility also boasts of a medical center and the hospitality suites overlook the vast football pitches. PSG trained for 53 years at the Camp des Loges prior to the move to the new facility.
Over the weekend, PSG announced the signing of new players including French international defender Lucas Hernandez, South Korean international Kim Min-Jae, Spanish international Marco Asensio and former Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
The club has been quite a series of upheavals in recent times after fans protested intensely against star players Neymar Jr. and Lionel Messi.
Messi has since left the team to sign for Major League Soccer side Inter Miami CF while Kylian Mbappe’s future with the club is also up in the air.
