Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has made a strong call for all stakeholders of the club to come together and stay united.

He said this at his official unveiling following his appointment as head coach for the second time in his coaching career.

Flanked by Kotoko technical director, James Kwesi Appiah, and Interim Management Committee member, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awuah, the former West African Football Academy trainer stated,

“Everybody should come board and let’s try as much as possible to be one. The past is past. It’s gone. Let’s pick the lessons from the past and screen them to see what we have to repeat and the ones we do not have to.”

That is the only way that we can achieve our aim. That is the only way we can take Kotoko to the day when the Al-Ahli’s were no team before Kotoko.”

Dr. Ogum

Dr. Ogum led Kotoko to win the 2021-2022 Ghana Premier League title and takes over a club that finished fourth in the immediate past campaign.
