Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew reached a milestone in Ghana’s 3-1 win over Liberia earlier today in an international friendly game played at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The 32 year old made his 92nd appearance for the Black Stars and scored in the win to become the fourth most capped Black Stars player in history.

He made his 91st appearance to tie John Paintsil’s record in Ghana’s 2-1 win over Central African Republic in a 2023 AFCON qualifier.

Ayew checked into the game in the 61st minute as a replacement for fellow goal scorer Ernest Nuamah and scored in the 82nd minute to put Ghana up 3-0.

Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew in a prior interview, didn’t put much stock in the reaching the impressive mark but rather to enjoy playing the sport. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
