Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey’s fine start to the 2023-2024 season continues with the former SC Paderborn player adding to his assist count.
Tekpetey registered two assists as Ludogrets Razgrad beat Spartak Trnava 4-0 in the opening round of games in the UEFA Conference League group stage.
The ex Schalke player has seven goals and four assists in 14 games in all competitions this season; 26 year old Tekpetey played 85 minutes before Mounir Chouiar replaced him.
Playing on the right side of a three man forward line, the 26 year old set up Ivan Yordanov and Jakub Piotrowski to score in the 46th and 63rd minutes respectively.
After the win, Tekpetey stated on his X (formerly Twitter) page, “A Good start and good team performance, we keep it up like this”.

Ludogrets superior goal difference puts the Bulgarian team in first place in Group H ahead of Turkish side Fenerbache with both teams on three points.
Fenerbache beat FC Nordsjaelland 3-1 with Black Stars defender Alexander Djiku playing the entire duration of the game.
