Medeama Sporting Club head coach Augustine Evans Adotey says pressure as the lead trainer for the Tarkwa based side comes from planning well.
He made this revelation in his pregame presser ahead of Medeama’s tie against Dreams FC in the BetPawa Premier League on Sunday, October 22.
Both teams are competing in African club competitions with Medeama representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League and Dreams FC competing in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Medeama ranks 16th in the 18 team league after playing three games while Dreams FC ranks 12th picking five points from five games along the way.
While acknowledging that there is inevitable pressure that comes with being a coach, he admitted the pressure mainly stems from planning to sort out multiple issues.
“Definitely pressure will come on you as a coach because you need to plan. If am using the word planning, it goes in so many ways; you have a team that is playing in the league, playing in the African terrain.”
“We have also other players who are injured who are in rehabilitation we also have players who aren’t having playing time so as a coach definitely you will be under pressure as to how to plan, to organize and go by matching matches one at a time.”
