Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member Eugene Nobel Noel has called on football clubs to improve their performances in order to replicate the success of Dreams FC in the CAF Confederation Cup.
He said this in an exclusive chat with Citi Sports after leading the preliminary stage draw for the 2024 MTN FA Cup; Dreams FC are FA Cup champions and have qualified to compete in the group stage of the Confederation Cup in its debut run in the tournament.
Newly minted GFA EXCO member Nobel Noel believes clubs need to up their performance to reach the level of Dreams FC.
“With the performance of Dreams FC in the CAF Confederation Cup, I believe the clubs must up their game so that any club qualifies to the CAF Confederation will be able to replicate whatever Dreams FC has done so as a regulatory body, we will also do our best to ensure the clubs get the support they need to attain the very heights they want to attain when it comes to competing here and Africa.”
