Medeama Sporting Club head coach, Augustine Evans Adotey, has highlighted his coaching style prioritizes clean sheet wins over high scoring wins.
He said this in a pre game press conference as Medeama prepares to take on Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club away from home.
The Betpawa Premier League game kicks off on Wednesday, November 1 at 15:00 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Medeama has kept scored 1-0 wins in two straight games and Coach Adotey voiced his preference for this type of win over a high scoring one.
“My coaching style is to keep clean sheets. My coaching style is to win 1-0, 2-0. I dislike 4-3, 5-2, 5-3, 4-4, 3-3 (results). I am one coach I always want to keep clean sheets and that is exactly what I plan to do tomorrow.”
“Today (in training), we focused our objectives on defending not that we are going to defensive against Hearts of Oak…but we want the defensive organization to be intact.”
Medeama ranks eighth in the 18 team league standings while Hearts ranks 16th in the league and has drawn three games in a row.
