Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been named in the Sky Bet Championship after starring in Leicester City’s 3-1 win over Swansea City in the immediate past round of league games in England’s second tier competition.

Issahaku was one of two Leicester City players to be included in the team; teammate Jannik Vestergaard was among three central defenders selected.

19 year old Issahaku who is on loan from Sporting Lisbon, scored his debut goal for Leicester in the win over Swansea after sweeping the ball into the top of the net from inside the penalty.

Former Dreams FC player Issahaku earned the praise of Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca who went on to talk through how happy he was with Issahaku’s performance. (Click highlighted text to read story)

In Leicester’s fourth win in a row, Issahaku played 65 minutes and completed 16 of 23 passes while winning five of eight ground duels.
