Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee member, Eugene Nobel Noel, has pinned the success of Ghana’s representatives in CAF club competitions this season on hard work and good preparation.
Medeama Sporting Club and Dreams FC are representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup this season and both teams have progressed to the group stage.
Both teams will play group stage games in November; both teams are making their respective debuts in the respective competitions.
Speaking on the sidelines of the MTN FA Cup preliminary stage draw, the recently elected GFA EXCO member stated,
“For a long time, we (Ghana) have not been able to reach there (group stage) so I must say with hard work and good preparation I think the clubs have been able to get there. So all that I ask is that in future, our clubs prepare adequately for Africa and when we do that we will be where we want to reach.”
“With this performance I believe it motivates the other clubs to ensure they also get there.”
