Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, isn’t impressed with his team’s point build up thus far in the 2023-2024 BetPawa Premier League campaign.

He indicated this in an interview with the Porcupine Warriors official media channel ahead of the team’s big game against Bechem United on Sunday, October 29 at 15:00 GMT at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

Six games into the season, Kotoko has two wins, three draws and a loss and ranks seventh in the 18 team league standings with nine points.

Speaking on a wide range of topics, Dr. Ogum talked about his wish Kotoko had a higher point tally than it has at this point in the campaign.

“As far as point accumulation is concerned, myself and the players, we are all not happy because if you look at it, it means that we’ve given half of the points away which shouldn’t happen.”

“If you look at the games we have played and the creativity we’ve shown in front of goal we shouldn’t be having nine points but as I said earlier on, it’s a learning curve.”
