Bibiani Gold Stars head coach, Michael Osei, has praised the efforts of Kpando Heart of Lions after Lions battled from a two goal deficit to draw 2-2 with Gold Stars in Bibiani.
He said this in a post game interview where his side was in pole position to take all three points after getting goals from Appiah McCarthy and Alex Aso.
However, Lions got goals from Mustapha Yakubu and Ebenezer Abban to tie the game prompting Michael Osei to acknowledge the team’s quality.
“It was a very difficult game. Let me credit the opponent I think they were very tactically disciplined. We were slow on the second balls I think we need to work on that.”
“It was a very difficult and balanced game we must be happy that we got one point, the opponent wasn’t bad today they got their tactics correct. At the end, we got one point which we have to take it like that because it was a very difficult game.”
