Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus is off the mark in the English Premier League after grabbing his debut goal for West Ham United.
Kudus scored in the 89th minute from the edge of the box for West Ham and earn the Hammers a 2-2 draw with Newcastle United.
Tomas Soucek put the Hammers in front but Newcastle United responded with a brace from Alexander Isak.
Prior to the Premier League goal, Kudus had scored twice since moving from Ajax Amsterdam with one coming in in the Europa League and the other coming in the Carabao Cup. He earned the Man of the Match Award in both games.
“It feels very good of course but most importantly it made a difference in the game which was us getting a point so even though we wanted the three points, I was happy to score my first goal and most importantly we got a point out of it.”
Kudus is set to feature for the Black Stars in international friendly games against Mexico and the USA next.
