Kotoko 1-0 Aduana Stars: Disappointed with third away loss- Yaw Acheampong

Aduana Stars Football Club head coach, Yaw Acheampong, says he is disappointed his team lost a third league game away from home five games into the team’s run in the 2023-2024 Betpawa Premier League season.

Coach Acheampong said this in a post game interview after watching his side lose 0-1 to Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Prior to the Kotoko loss, Aduana had lost 0-1 to Samartex and 1-2 to Legon Cities playing away from its home base in Dormaa.

The team has won all two games played at home including a 2-0 win over CAF Champions League campaigners Medeama SC.

On the other hand, the win gives Kotoko its second victory in a row after starting the season winless in three games.

“Very disappointed because especially in the first half, to me it wasn’t a good game at all in the first half…we came back strongly in the second half knowing that we can equalize but we couldn’t…am a little disappointed” Acheampong stated after the loss.
