Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has praised his team’s ability to reproduce its winning performance over Accra Lions in its latest league outing.

Kotoko beat Aduana Stars 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium in the opening game of Week 5 round of Betpawa Premier League 2023-2024 season games.

Kalo Ouattara scored his second goal in as many games to give the Porcupine Warriors its second win in a row.

Ouattara headed home the sole goal of the game in the 34th minute after connecting on Richmond Lamptey’s cross.

Speaking on the win in a post game interview, Dr. Ogum expressed how proud he was of his team’s performance saying,

“I am proud of the boys for their consistent performance. The way we played in Accra, they’ve been able to reproduce the same performance and for Kalo, it’s a good birthday gift for himself and am proud of him. Good showpiece; that (scoring headers) is his trademark and he used it when the opportunity came.”
