My dream to play for Kotoko has become a reality- Sherif Mohammed

Defensive midfielder Mohammed Sherif says his dream to play for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club is now a reality as he stars for the club.

He confessed this in an interview on Kotoko’s official media channel after a quick turnaround in the fortunes of the Porcupine Warriors.

The 2021-2022 League champions had no wins after three games in the 2023-2024 BetPawa Premier League season but has bagged two wins in a row to move up to fifth place in the 18 team league standings.

While touching on several team related issues, Sheriff spoke about his dream to play for Kotoko becoming reality after joining Kotoko in 2021.

“I dreamt of playing for Kotoko. That year before I joined Kotoko, I had the chance to join Kotoko but it didn’t go through because of my club (Steadfast FC) so the following year I joined Kotoko and I’ve always supported Kotoko.

I have always dreamt of playing for Kotoko and it has become a reality so I am very happy.”

Kotoko plays city rival Nations FC on Sunday, October 22.
