Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton has highlighted “challenges” his team will deal with playing against Mexico in an international friendly game at 12:30 AM on Sunday, October 15.
The game is scheduled to be played at the Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina with the Mexican matchup being the first of two friendlies the Black Stars is due to play in the US.
Speaking in a pre game interview, Hughton talked about the importance of focusing on the Mexican team as a whole unit and not individual players while adding the challenges and opportunities his team will deal with. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“This is another challenge for us. We are up against a very good team (at) a very good stadium which we know will be full of Mexican supporters and a pitch that is very different for us so these are the challenges for us and these are the aspects that you learn more about the team and the players.”
Ghana plays against USA in another friendly game on Wednesday, October 18.
