Bechem United head coach, Bismark Kobi-Mensah, has blasted assistant referee Fauzan Minkaa-il over the latter’s offside call.

Kobi-Mensah said this in a post game interview after Bechem United picked up a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Kotoko scored first through Peter Acquah but Bechem United got the equalizer through veteran winger Augustine Okrah who has returned to the club after a two year stint with Simba SC.

Speaking after the game, former Karela United head coach, Kobi-Mensah, wasn’t happy with the decision to chop what he believed to be the winner for his side and vented at the match official in the presser.

“A bit disappointed. I think that we have been denied precious three points from a bad decision from the linesman line two but at the end of the day, its part of the game.”
