Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has highlighted the call for his team to bring back the spirit of Kotoko and sustain it.

He said this in an interview with the Porcupine Warriors media channel in the wake of Kotoko’s 2-2 draw with city rival Nations FC in an exciting game that ended in controversy.

Citing the need for his players to have qualities like confidence and determination through the team’s motto, Dr. Ogum indicated that these qualities are needed to sustain the spirit of the club.

“We always encourage them that they need to be more aggressive, they need to be more confident and then they need to be more committed on the field because that’s the trademark of Kotoko.”

Dr. Ogum

“It-the spirit- was created several years ago when this team was established and in our time we also need to make sure that we sustain and even possibly, make it better.”
