Head coach of Ghana’s National Men’s Football team, Chris Hughton, has tagged Mohammed Kudus as a player who is “still developing”.
He said this about the 23 year old West Ham United midfielder who has played a starring role since joining The Hammers in September.
His beautiful strike against Brentford was voted as West Ham’s Goal of The Month for October and Kudus is in line to play later today against Nottingham Forest in the EPL.
“Kudus is a real developing player and is still developing. In some terms he might not be so young but I think he’s still somebody that is developing his game. I think West Ham will be good for him because of what the Premier League means and also a very very experienced head coach in David Moyes” Hughton said.
Kudus scored in a crucial 2-1 win over Central African Republic that sealed Ghana’s qualification to the 2023 AFCON.
He scored another goal in Ghana’s 3-1 win over Liberia in an international friendly game but went scoreless in similar friendly games against USA and Mexico with Ghana losing 4-0 and 2-0 respectively.
