Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew is on the verge of returning to the French Ligue 1.
According to French Football Journalist Sebastien Denis, the former Nottingham Forest player is in advanced talks with a Ligue 1 side negotiating a return to the French top flight.
The most capped player in Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, Ayew, has been without a club since the conclusion of the 2022-2023 season after a brief spell with Nottingham.
According to Denis, Ayew is negotiating a deal with a club occupying a spot in the top half of the 18 team league standings.
Ayew played in Ligue 1 for Olympique Marseille but left to join English Premier League side Swansea City. His fine performances earned him a move to West Ham United.
