Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s goal against Swansea City has earned a nomination for Leicester City’s Goal of the Month Award in October.

This latest development underlines the fine run the Sporting Lisbon loanee has enjoyed since the Foxes at the start of the 2023-2024 season.

The Black Stars player’s goal was registered in a 3-1 win with Issahaku scoring Leicester’s second off an assist from Kieran Dewsbury-Hall in the 63rd minute. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

His strike has been nominated with seven others including goals from Kelechi Iheanacho, Harry Winks and two goals from veteran striker Jamie Vardy

Issahaku has a goal and an assist in 12 games in all competitions and constantly involved in Leicester’s attacks that has seen the former FA Cup winners take a four point lead at the summit of the Sky Bet Championship.
