Leicester City winger Fatawu Issahaku has expressed his dissatisfaction over his team’s failure to get a win in its latest outing in the SkyBet Championship.
He said this in a post-game interview after seeing his Leicester City side draw 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday.
Issahaku scored in the 23rd minute after controlling the ball on his chest inside the penalty box before smashing it into the net to put Leicester City ahead.
However, The Foxes conceded a Jeff Hendrick goal in the 93rd minute to drop points and the Black Stars player wasn’t impressed with the outcome of the game.
“I got a goal, but it’s not the result I wanted. We didn’t get it, so I’m not happy. We wanted the win and we drew, but as I said, we’ll learn from our mistakes and keep going”
“We do this every game. The coach tells us to do it. That’s what we did and it went in, so I’m happy [with the goal].”
The goal is Issahaku’s second since joining Leicester on loan from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.
