Black Stars winger Fatawu Issahaku regrets the number of chances missed by his Leicester City side in a 1-1 draw with fellow Sky Bet Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday.

He said this in a post-game chat with Leicester’s official media channel after his goal got canceled out by a very late Jeff Henrich goal in the 93rd minute.

The goal is Issahaku’s second for Leicester City since joining the Foxes from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon on loan.

Though the 19 year old was delighted with his goal, he was disappointed it didn’t get Leicester its 15th win in 18 league games this season and highlighted missed opportunities as a major reason for the draw. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“I don’t like conceding these kind of goals. It’s painful but it’s a game. We’ll take it and we’ll learn. We’re unlucky. I thought [Jannik Vestergaard’s late chance] would be a goal, but it didn’t go in.

We’re going to go back in and prepare for Saturday and come back stronger and go for the win.”

Leicester plays West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, December 2 at 12:30 GMT.
