Black Stars midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp has opened up on the backdrop of his debut goal in the 2023-2024 season for Crystal Palace.
He said this in a post game presser to Palace’s media channel after scoring in a 2-0 win over Burnley; it marked the fourth time Schlupp has scored against Burnley.

“We literally spoke before game. He (Jordan Ayew) said, Just make sure you come in at the back post and I’ll look for you. As soon as I saw him win the ball back and run into the box I just put my head down and just literally ran towards the back-post.”
“I just thought to put my head down, trust Jordan to put it across box and he did. We managed to get the timing right and it was perfect.”
