FC Samartex 1996 head coach Nurudeen Amadu says his team is still working to improve its performance away from the Nsenkyire Park.

He said this in his post game presser after guiding his team to clinch a hard fought 1-0 win over Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club in Samreboi.

While Samartex has picked up back to back home wins against Kotoko and Legon Cities, the team has missed out on wins in away games against Berekum Chelsea, Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama.

Coach Amadu identified this trend as a concern despite picking the big win over Kotoko and added his team is working to be better away from the Nsenkyire Park.

“We are still working on the away performance. Now the play is good we are always dominating play but it’s about how we can translate that into goal scoring and that’s what we are going to be working on exactly” Amadu said.
