Great Olympics 0-0 Kotoko: Our conversion rate was down- Kotoko coach David Ocloo

Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club assistant coach David Ocloo has rated his team’s conversion rate as poor after the Porcupine Warriors played out a goalless draw with Accra Great Olympics.

The draw ends Kotoko’s four game winning streak in the league that included a 1-0 win over defending champion Medeama SC and a 3-2 win over bitter rival Accra Hearts of Oak.

Despite starting with scorers in the big win over Hearts of Oak in Steven Mukwala and Isaac Oppong, Kotoko wasted chances in front of goal leading Ocloo to rate his team’s conversion in the game low.

“I think we were a bit slow today and Olympics is a tough customer; they played well but we squandered a whole lot of chances. The rate of conversion is a little bit down today or poor today.”

Kotoko Assistant Coach David Ocloo

Kotoko is scheduled to play against Real Tamale United on Friday, December 22 and Bofoakwa Tano on Friday, December 29 before the first round of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season ends.
